About the Certification

If you’re a developer with a keen interest in providing automated solutions for your organization, this certification could be a great fit for you. You know how to automate Windows-based, browser-based, and terminal-based applications' time-consuming and repetitive  processes by using a mix of approaches like UI, API, and database automation. 

 You analyze and design processes for automation and implement automation using Power Automate for desktop and Power Automate cloud flows. You use actions for logic and to work with data, applications, and cloud based services. 

 Working with business stakeholders, you help to optimize business workflows. And you collaborate with administrators to deploy solutions to other environments and to support solutions. 

 You should have experience with the Windows desktop environment, scripting languages,microsoft teams , Power Automate cloud and desktop flows, AI Builder, Process Advisor, and Microsoft Dataverse,microsoft 365 app.

  • Design automation (30–35%)
  • Develop automation (40–45%)
  • Deploy and manage automation (20–25%)

Passing Criteria: 

  • A passing score is 700 or greater.

Exam Duration:

  • 120 Minutes

Recertification:

  • Previously, Microsoft role-based and specialty certifications were valid for two years.
  • Starting June 2021, certifications are valid for one year, but they can be renewed online for free at Microsoft Learn.
  • The renewal window begins six months before the certification expires. During this window, before the cert expires, you can take a free online assessment and get the certification extended by one additional year from the current expiration date.
  • Want the best of both worlds, old and new? Certifications earned before June 2021 will be valid for two years and eligible for the new renewal process.
