About the Certification
If you’re a functional consultant, developer, information worker, or IT or business professional using Dynamics 365 Commerce to support your team and organization, this certification could help give your career a boost. As a candidate for this certification, you configure, deploy, and maintain Dynamics 365 Commerce applications.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of unified commerce business operations. They configure Dynamics 365 Commerce headquarters, configure and manage Commerce call centers, Point of Sale (POS) in Commerce, manage e-commerce, and configure products, prices, discounts, loyalty, and affiliations.
Recertification:
- Previously, Microsoft role-based and specialty certifications were valid for two years.
- Starting June 2021, certifications are valid for one year, but they can be renewed online for free at Microsoft Learn.
- The renewal window begins six months before the certification expires. During this window before the cert expires, you can take a free online assessment and get the certification extended by one additional year from the current expiration date.
- Want the best of both worlds old and new? Certifications earned before June 2021 will be valid for two years and eligible for the new renewal process.
