The Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator is a professional certification also provided by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council.) and focusing on network security investigations. Computer forensics is the application of computer investigation and analysis techniques to determine potential legal evidence. Evidence might be sought in cases such as theft of trade secrets, theft of intellectual property, and fraud.
