Citrix XenApp (formerly Citrix WinFrame Server, Citrix MetaFrame Server and Citrix Presentation Server) is a thin client product that allows users to connect to their corporate applications. XenApp can host applications on central servers and allow users to interact with them remotely or stream and deliver them to user devices for local execution.
Why deliver applications on demand? Virtual application delivery lets IT manage a single instance of each application in an application hub in the datacenter. Applications are then delivered via application streaming to Windows PCs for offline use or run on high-powered servers in the datacenter for online use on any device or operating system.
