About the Cisco CCNP Security (SECURE, IPS, FIREWALL, VPN) - Boot Camp
On October 19, 2010, Learning@Cisco announced the evolution of the CCSP certification to CCNP Security. CCSP exams will remain available until April 2011 and individuals can still obtain a CCSP certification until October 2011.
CCNP Security certification program is aligned specifically to the job role of the Cisco Network Security Engineer responsible for Security in Routers, Switches, Networking devices and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions for their networking environments.

Our instructor had a vast knowledge of the subject matter, and was able to convey the material to our class in a highly effective way. He had good pacing, a clear voice (that was easy to understand despite his Canadian accent) and spoke to the level of the class. Even though we covered a lot of material. He kept it interesting, and spaced out breaks so that we didn't get tired or feel overwhelmed.
