20488: Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions Boot Camp Course Description

Duration: 3.00 days (30 hours)

In this course, students learn core skills that are common to almost all SharePoint development activities. These include working with the server-side and client-side object models, developing and deploying features, solutions, and apps, managing identity and permissions, querying and updating list data, managing taxonomy, using workflow to manage business processes, and customizing the user interface.

This course is geared towards preparing students for the brand new SharePoint developer certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): SharePoint Applications certification.

In order to achieve your MCSD: SharePoint Applications certification, you need to pass four exams:

  • 70-480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3

  • 70-486: Developing ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Applications

  • 70-488: Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions

  • 70-489: Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Advanced Solutions
