The Server+ certification credential validates advanced-level technical competency of server issues and technology, including installation, configuration, upgrading, maintenance, troubleshooting and disaster recovery. This certification is geared toward mid- to upper-level technicians.
To become certified, a student must pass the CompTIA Server+ Exam (SK0-003).

Students enrolling in this course should have a strong understanding of personal computer concepts, an intermediate understanding of networking concepts, and considerable experience with installing and upgrading hardware and software components. For the exam, CompTIA recommends 18 to 24 months experience working with installing advanced (server) hardware.
