Overview
The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

Steps To CCNA® Certification
To become a CCNA, students must take the 640-822 ICND1: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 and 640-816 ICND2: Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 Exam OR one 640-802 CCNA Composite Exam.

CCNA Certification Exam:
CCNA Exam Type: Computer based, Multiple choice, multiple answer, drag and drop, Testlet, Simlet, and Router Simulations
CCNA Test Duration: 75-90 minutes each for 640-822 ICND1, 640-816 ICND2 and 640-802 CCNA Composite Exam
CCNA Exam Length: 40-60 Questions for each exam
CCNA Exam Cost: $125 USD each for 640-822 ICND1, 640-816 ICND2 and $250 for 640-802 CCNA Composite Exam
CCNA Passing Score: 849 out of 1000 for 640-822 ICND1 and 640-802 CCNA Composite Exam and 85% for 640-816 ICND2
