CompTIA: Linux+ Certification Program
Overview
The CompTIA Linux+ certification is a new standard of competency for technicians with six-months experience installing, operating and maintaining Linux operating systems.

The Linux+ certification validates technical competency and provides a broad awareness of Linux operating systems. Those holding the Linux+ certification demonstrate critical knowledge of installation, operation, administration and troubleshooting services.

The CompTIA Linux+ [Powered by LPI] certification is a vendor neutral credential. In order to receive CompTIA Linux+ certification, a candidate must pass two exams: LX0-101 and LX0-102.
Steps To CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) Certification
To become certified, a student must pass the CompTIA Linux+ Exam (LX0-101 and LX0-102).

Linux+ Exam Type: Computer based, Multiple choice questions
Linux+ Test Duration: 90 minutes each
Linux+ Exam Length: 60 questions for each exam
Linux+ Exam Cost: $246 USD ($209 for CompTIA members)
Linux+ Passing Score: 500 out of 800
