NetCom Learning CEO Russell Sarder to present book signing featuring legendary retail executive Ira Neimark, former Bergdorf Goodman CEO
Neimark's book, The Rise of Fashion, recounts Neimark's role in bringing the luxury shopping destination to its leadership position
New York, NY - June 20, 2012 - NetCom Learning is set to present legendary retail executive and former Bergdorf Goodman CEO Ira Neimark at a customer appreciation event, Wednesday June 27 in New York City, the company announced today.
Neimark will sign copies of his book The Rise of Fashion, which recounts how Neimark and his talented fashion and merchandising team brought Bergdorf Goodman to its current leadership position.
NetCom Learning CEO Russell Sarder had the opportunity to interview Neimark about his successful career and hear his thoughts on how to become a success.
"Ira Neimark is an extraordinary leader who has a wealth of information about what it takes to achieve success, much of which he talks about in his book. I think that he will have a lot to share with attendees at his book signing, and it's a pleasure for NetCom Learning to present this event," Sarder said.
Neimark's career spans several decades, and most notable is his leadership at Bergdorf Goodman, a retailer known throughout the world for elegance, luxury and superior service.
Gaining such a reputation comes only from having the right combination of ambition and know-how, he said.
"Those who aspire to it but don't have the background to make it happen will fail. Those who aspire to it and have the background, knowledge and ambition are pretty damn sure going to be successful," Neimark said.
